Cato van Dijck is a Dutch singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, best known as the charismatic frontwoman of the internationally acclaimed band MY BABY. Growing up in a musical family, she began performing at a young age and later studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

After co-founding the soul band The Souldiers in 2005, Cato formed MY BABY in 2012 alongside her brother Joost van Dijck and guitarist Daniel de Vries. Blending psychedelic blues, rock, funk, and electronic dance influences, the band has developed a distinctive, hypnotic sound and performed at major international festivals, including Glastonbury, Lowlands, Pinkpop, and Sziget.

Alongside her work with MY BABY, Cato has developed her solo career, exploring new musical directions and collaborations. She also performs as a duo with acclaimed jazz guitarist Anton Goudsmit, bringing together their musical backgrounds in an intimate and adventurous setting. As a songwriter, she regularly collaborates with producers and fellow writers in songwriting sessions, continuously exploring new sounds and creative approaches.

Beyond her performing career, Cato is passionate about sharing her experience with the next generation of musicians. She gives masterclasses at conservatories and holds a teaching position at the Conservatorium Haarlem, where she provides artist coaching and teaches stage performance. Drawing on years of international touring and live performance experience, she helps artists develop their stage presence, artistic identity, and confidence as performers. She is also available for private performance coaching and artist development sessions.

With six studio albums released with MY BABY, including ECHO (2025), Cato continues to explore new creative territory, driven by her expressive vocals, captivating stage presence, and passion for musical experimentation.
